This piece came about when I saw an abandoned hut in the Dolomites. I wanted to imagine what it might have looked when it was inhabited, and so I designed an interior for it, keeping in mind questions such as 'how might someone have lived in the past in a remote location?' 'How would they have made the most of such a small space?' and 'What materials might they have used?'.
